Itinerary
The exciting Hanoi Old Quarter & Red River Delta half day cycling tour.
Morning tour commences at 8:00 am till 12.00pm / Afternoon tour commences at 1.00pm am till 4.00pm.
Meet up at 8:00 am or 13:00 am at our office located at 20 Hang Muoi, Hoan Kiem district for a brief introduction of the trip as well as safety instructions on how to navigate safely through Hanoi on a bicycle.
We set off towards the majestic Hoan Kiem lake and learn of it’s history and significance to the people of Hanoi. Next we visit St. Joseph’s Cathedral and head towards famous Street Murals, passing along the train street.
On this cycling tour we will take you through the most interesting parts and markets of the Old Quarter. Our ride will us take us through narrow-car-free-alleys to hidden backyards so you can get a real feel of how life has been here for centuries.
Stopping at the Citadel North Gate, the Hanoi Flag Tower and the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum we soak in the rich history of this amazing city.
We continue along beautiful treelined streets and breath in the fresh air around the West Lake area, Tran Quoc Pagoda and Truc Bach lake. Experience how tranquil and peaceful it is just 15-minutes from the buzzling Old Quarter of Hanoi.
We adventure on narrow paths through impressive banana plantations and vegetable gardens on Banana Island that cover the fertile grounds of the Red River Delta. The noisy city suddenly seems to be so far away.
The trip winds down with a local home-made egg coffee at the popular Giang café and will end whilst cycling back through the Old Quarter.
Should you wish to include and experience a local Hanoian lunch – bun cha, pho or pho cuon, our guide can accommodate this at an additional cost (to be paid directly to the restaurant).
Tour ends at 20 Hang Muoi street about 12.30pm for the morning tour or 4.30pm for the afternoon tour.

1. What happen if it rains? The tour operates in all weather conditions – ponchos are provided free of charge!
2. Are we picked up from our hotel? To ensure the tour starts on time, we ask guests to meet us at our office located at 24 Hang Buom Street or 20 Hang Muoi Street, Hoan Kiem district. Here you will meet the tour guide for a briefing and safety instruction before starting the tour.
3. What is the group size? Each tour operates with a maximum of 8 guests
4. What kind of bikes are we riding? Quality, clean and well maintained bikes are provided. They are simple to ride and reliable for you to enjoy on tour.
5. What if I’m tall! Do you have a larger bikes for me? Yes, we can cater to taller guests with larger framed bikes available on request.
6. Do I need to wear a helmet? Safety is always our priority! Yes. Helmets are provided on tour.
