1. WHAT DATE DOES THE TOUR START?
Our tour starts everyday, we guarantee to run the tour everyday even we have 1 guest. Please inform us your planed travel date as soon as possible or at least 45 days in advance. If your booking is last minute booking, we are not sure to provide you the best choices of flight, train, hotel, cruises…and surcharge maybe applied.
2. CAN I START THIS TOUR FROM HO CHI MINH CITY AND FINISH IN HANOI.
We prefer you to start from Hanoi and finish in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC). However, that is no problem, you can start in HCMC and finish in Hanoi, a surcharge will be applied.
3. WHAT ABOUT CHILDREN POLICY?
Almost of our tour applied below policy, some special tours have a bit different policy.
Kid of 1-5 will be charged 40% of the adult price to cover for the train and flight tickets.
Kid of 6-8 will be charged 75% of the adult price to cover for the train and flight tickets and a bed in room with parents.
9- above: charged as adult price.
4. WHAT IS THE BEST TIME TO TRAVEL VIETNAM?
Any time you can travel Vietnam but The best time to travel Vietnam is from Oct to end of May (Winter and Spring).
5. CAN I EXTEND MY TRIP IN A CITY?
Yes, definitely, you can extend some more nights in a certain city in Vietnam (Hue, Nha Trang, Da Lat, Sapa…) or even to Cambodia, that could be welcomed.
6. CAN I UPGRADE TO 4 STAR OR 5 STAR HOTEL OPTION?
Yes, certainly, please email us then we can book all 4 star or 5 star accommodation for you. You can upgrade some of services (not all package) to higher class, that could be alright.
Extra cost will be very reasonable.
7. CAN I UPGRADE TO FLIGHT FROM HANOI TO HOI AN INSTEAD OF THE TRAIN?
Yes, you should do that because train costs you about 15 – 16 hours. Upgrade to flight you will have 1 more night in Hanoi or Hoi An.
Extra cost will be 50 USD/ 1 person/ flight with airport transfer and 45 USD/ 2 people/ 1 night in 3 star hotel. (for 2 people is : (50 + 50) + 45 = 145 USD/2 pax.
8. DO I NEED VISA TO VIETNAM, WHAT IS THE PROCESS ?
With Asian citizens, you are not required Visa to visit my country under 15 days.
With New Zealand and Australia citizens, you are required Visa to visit my country under 30 days.
Instead of going to Vietnam Embassy in your country, you just feel free to provide me your valid passport and I can arrange the Visa Approval Letter for you. It costs you just 15 USD per person for single entry one month or 18 USD for multiple entry one month. After getting the Visa Approval Letter, just print out, bring it to travel and you can entry the airport gate immediately. Remember that you will be required to pay in cash 25 USD per stamp fee (single entry one month) or 50 USD per stamp fee (multiple entry one month) and 02 passport photos 4*6 cm each at the airport upon arrival.
With US citizens, the fee is higher. It costs 30 USD per person for Visa Approval Letter and 135 USD per person for stamp fee.
9. DOES YOUR TOUR INCLUDES FLIGHT TICKETS ?
100% of our tour does NOT includes international flight tickets.
Flight from your home or other countries to Vietnam or Laos or Cambodia is NOT included.
Flight out of Vietnam or Laos or Cambodia to other country or back to your home is NOT included.
For all international flight tickets, please book and pay by yourself, Then send us to arrange airport pick up.

10. SOLO TRAVELLER ?
Our price is normally for twin sharing base. If you travel alone or occupy room alone, please pay us single supplement. Normally, single supplement will be 40 – 60% of twin sharing price depends on each tour.
We can not find another person who is willing to share with you because of gender, culture, budget, ages, start date, destinations…please find a travel partner by your own and book with us as soon as possible.

13. VIETNAMESE NEW YEAR (TET HOLIDAY) ???
It is the biggest holiday in my country so Not only our company but also all other travel services (hotel, restaurant, car, bus, travel agent, flight …) also stop working or provide services in less staff and poor services situation. Moreover, all the price will be double or triple expensive than the normal day.
So please kindly select any date before or after that to get better price and services.

15. TIPPING POLICIES ???
Generally, tipping in our tour is not compulsary, but is very much appreciated. Tour guide, driver, hotel bellman… are people who do not earn much money and always appreciate the extra money to be made in tips. So if you receive good service, you should leave them around 1-3 dollar per day, depending on your satisfaction and budget. However, if you did not receive good service, don’t need to give him a tip.
16. How to get to Ninh Binh?
Ninh Binh is about 110 kms from Hanoi, you can get there by:
– Train: Train leaves at Hanoi Railway Station, timetable is publicized there, you can go to the Station to buy the ticket by your self.
– Bus: You can book the bus trip only to Ninh Binh at any travel agents in Hanoi. Ticket fare is around 12 USD/person/1 way
– Day trips: That is the easiest thing to do, please book the day trip to visit Ninh Binh, tour from 40 – 70 USD/person due to its quality and group size.
17. How is the weather like in Ninh Binh?
Ninh Binh is located in the North of Vietnam, so it is tropical climate with 4 seasons per year: Springs from Feb to end of March, summer from April to July, auturmn from August to November and the winter from December to January. It is hot and humid in the summer and it is cold in the winter, so if you travel to Ninh Binh in different time of a year, please prepare suitable clothes.
18. Where to visit in Ninh Binh?
– Hoa Lu ancient citadel in the 10th century: This is the first place you should visit.
– Tam Coc: it is famous for boating on Ngo Dong river to visit 3 under water cave. It is predicted to be the first place to visit in 50 famous destinations in the world in 2018 by Insider.
– Bai Dinh pagoda complex: There, you can visit the new and biggest pagoda in ASEAN, with a lot of world records by electric car.
– Trang An sanctuary: You can enjoy the terrific boating trip on the river where Skull Island Film’s part was made there.
– Mua cave: Located in between Tam Coc and Trang An, Mua cave has a great outlook of wild stalagmites and stalactites inside. There is a path with steps up to the top of mountain called Ngoa Long where you can have the one million dollar view down to Tam Coc valley. A lot of writers worldwide have voted for the best view mountain in Asia.
– Van Long reserve: Boating on the river with wild life
– Cuc Phuong National Park: This is rainforest where a lot of flora and fauna live, you should visit Primate Rescue Center there or One Thousand Year Old Tree or Cave of Prehistoric Man
19. Where to stay overnight?
There are many bungalows or home stays owned by the locals, they are in low budget. There are also hotels or resorts, however, you could travel by yourself, just book the bus tickets then rent a motorbike to discover. If you are looking for a well arranged day tour, go with us.
20. How much you could spend for overnight one day in Ninh Binh
Normally, one night a the hostel costs you around 5 USD/person including breakfast, 2 star hotel is about 30 USD/night. Normal lunch or dinner is about 3 USD/person with small restaurant for locals. So you can spend from 25 to 40 USD/person/day.
